The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) is cheering the protection of a huge area of Manitoba's Boreal Forest announced today.

The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) is handing in a review today to the federal government of its draft recovery strategy for Boreal woodland caribou, accompanied by a “report card” summarizing its findings and recommending remedial work to close loopholes that could undermine the species’ long-term survival.
